#VillarSIPAG honors and recognizes 9 Most Outstanding and 2 Most Promising Young Social Entrepreneurs of 2017. These young social enterprises are proudly owned and operated by the youth and have been proven to be sustainable; moreso, have addressed poverty reduction issues in their chosen communitites.

Greetings from Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation & Governance)!

For the past years, Villar SIPAG continues to find means in alleviating poverty in the Philippines. We have launched different programs to help our poor countrymen break free from the clutches of poverty through the following advocacies that we uphold: livelihood and urban farming, environmental protection and OFW assistance.

Since 2016, we focus on the Filipino youth through the 1st Villar SIPAG Youth Poverty Reduction Challenge, which we officially launched last year.

This is a national awards program among young entrepreneurs (even college students and Out of School Youths - aged 18 - 29 years old), recognizing their skills and experience in social enterprises that have contributed to poverty reduction in their respective communities.

After few months of rigid evaluation and on-site validation, our National Screening Committee (NSC) was able to select our Most Outstanding Young Social Entrepreneurs for 2017.

We invite you to be part of our Awarding Ceremony on July 28, 2017, Friday, 9AM at Villar SIPAG, C5 Extension Road, Pulanglupa Uno, Las Piñas City. Your presence will surely be a big support in community development with the participation of our youth.
