According to the Twitter post, the prohibitions will be effective as of tomorrow, May 12, 2018.The photo reads:
- May 12, 2018 (SAT)
- Last day of Campaign Period
- May 13, 2018 (SUN) - Eve of Election
- LIQUOR BAN. Selling, furnishing, offering, buying, serving, or taking intoxicating liquor, etc. is prohibited.
- Campaigning is prohibited.
- Opening of booths or stalls for the sale, etc. of wares, merchandise or refreshments within thirty (30) meters radius from the polling place is prohibited.
- Giving, accepting free transportation, food, drinks, and things of value, is prohibited.
- May 14, 2018 (MON) - Election Day
- LIQUOR BAN. Selling, furnishing, offering, buying, serving, or taking intoxicating liquor, etc. is prohibited.
- Campaigning is prohibited.
- Destroying, substituting, or taking away from the possession of those having legal custody thereof, or from the place where they are legally deposited, any election form or document or ballot box which contains official ballots or other documents used int he election is prohibited.
- Holding of fairs, cockfights, boxing, horse races or similar sports is prohibited.
The palace has also declared May 14, 2018 as a special non-working holiday in observance of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
